FABRIC CO-ORDINATOR: Durban Based                          

What the position entails:

Calculating and purchasing of fabric / raw materials, managing schedules and deliveries, communicating lead times to other teams, counter sourcing when necessary as well as managing the raw material database.

 

Specific Deliverables:

  • Must be able to calculate and manage correct stock levels
  • Managing of OTB and keeping in line with the budget
  • Order processing and placing for raw materials needed
  • Follow up orders placed and ensure deliveries on time
  • Must be able to work with suppliers and form good relationships
  • Manage and control suppliers through statistical (quantitative & qualitative) techniques
  • Manage performance standards for raw materials
  • Approving strike offs, fabric samples and lab dips
  • Clear understanding of clearing and forwarding processes
  • Liaison with clearing and forwarding agents to ensure goods being processed on time and correctly
  • Maintaining slow moving / redundant fabric list with samples
  • Maintain fabric price lists with latest prices
  • Accurately calculate final fabric costs
  • Ensure Approved Master fabric file kept up to date and neat
  • Ad hoc duties assisting other members of the procurement team

 

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is organised, proactive and has a sense of urgency
  • Has strong administrative as well as written skills

The experience we’re looking for:

  • Relevant degree / diploma in Business / Supply Chain / Operations

What the position entails….

 

  • Service Desk Delivery: Objectives: Ensure effective and seamless delivery of IT services to the business. Drive resolution of IT incidents & problems within agreed SLAs. Proactive monitoring of IT infrastructure performed daily ensuring optimum performance. Proactively monitor & escalate high risk IR (Incident Requests) to Technology Leader for resolution. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, utilising the Service Desk system to drive down incident & problem occurrence using ITIL Best Practice Methodology.
