By JW on April 01, 2016 in Jonssonites

JONSSON WORKWEAR ran a competition towards the end of 2015 to create awareness of our Women’s Workwear range.  The competition encouraged people to nominate a woman that embodied the characteristics of strength, intelligence, resilience and reliability in their everyday lives, the very same qualities of our workwear. We are so proud to announce our winner Lijeng Mokoatle, a women driven with purpose!

With over 20 years of experience in a male dominated industry, Lijeng commenced her own business Lettam Building & Civils CC.  which aims to improve South African Infrastructure. She believes her purpose in life is to provide jobs and uplift communities. Lijeng has decided that with the R25 000 prize money she will spend half of it on a CSR initiative that is close to her heart, the Thembisa Childrens’ Orphanage and the other half of the money on marketing for her business. Lettam Building & Civils would like to submit tenders in order for her to generate more employment and in turn reduce poverty in the country.

Lijeng is a truly remarkable woman of purpose and the epitome of resilience, reliability, strength and intelligence in a woman. Jonsson is proud to have her as our Womens Day Winner !
