The Barista Game Show returned for a second year running, with six teams of four baristas going head-to-head and blend-to-blend.
Taking to their coffee machines and milk frothers were teams representing some of the biggest names in local and international coffee, including: Woolworths’ WCafé; Portugal-inspired vida e caffè; and London-born Seattle Coffee Company. Team Humble Hunnies from Durban’s Humble Coffee came out tops, earning themselves the well-deserved title of 2023 Tamp That champs.
While casting a spotlight on KwaZulu-Natal’s best baristas, the event also gave in-store supporters the chance to see our head-to-toe hospitality range in action. Beyond brewing, our workwear offering excels at every level of the coffee supply chain – from cultivation to cup.
It was an exciting, aromatic afternoon of coffee creativity. Well done to all baristas who showcased their brewing brilliance on the day, and thank you to everyone who supported the event.
