At the forefront of supporting and elevating this industry is the Club Management Association of Southern Africa (CMASA) which is committed to reshaping the future of the club industry.

Jonsson Workwear is proud to announce our new role as a Platinum Partner of CMASA. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to service excellence and enabling peak performance. Our collaboration was announced just before the annual CMASA Annual Conference, hosted in George from 25-27 August.

The conference brought together club management professionals across South Africa to network, share knowledge and discuss industry trends. The event served as a valuable platform for us to forge new partnerships while showcasing our world-class workwear solutions.

Our display at the event was supported by our welcoming and knowledgeable store staff. Here, we were able to connect with senior management in the golf club sector while highlighting the purpose-built workwear solutions we offer for the many jobs that make up the industry – from maintenance and management to kitchen and event coordination.

To mark the start of our new partnership, we gifted each conference attendee with warm workwear, custom embroidered with the CMASA logo. Going forward, we look forward to future collaborations with CMASA and its club members. Through these partnerships, we’re enabling the peak performance that contributes to making these clubs the prestigious destinations they are.

Gauteng now has more workwear possibilities to explore for any job and any industry. With our newest store opening in Alberton, we are thrilled to announce that we have reached double digits with TEN Jonsson Workwear stores open in Gauteng! This also marks the opening of our 26th store nationwide.
The Alberton location opened its doors on Wednesday, 28 August 2024, inviting Alberton’s hardest workers to experience our elevated world of workwear. As always, customers can expect our warm hospitality, expert advice and a range of elevated services, including:

• Customisation facilities where customers can make their workwear uniquely their own. This can be achieved through multiple customisation options, including logo embroidery, garment print, and high-visibility tape application.
• Made-to-order sizes, where customers can get their workwear made in extended sizes beyond S-5XL, which can be custom-made at no extra cost.
• A complimentary coffee served by our expert in-house barista, to savour while exploring our wide range of world-class workwear, purpose-built to inspire peak performance in any industry.

Ahead of the exciting store opening, Business Support, Lordius Khumalo shared what customers can expect from the store and his team, “Customers can look forward to a beautiful store which has its own parking for convenience. The coffee bar and our customising department at the centre of our store will blow everyone away. Here, our customers will have the luxury of getting a cup of coffee while we bring their branding to life in their unique workwear.”

We’re thrilled to announce our collaboration once again as the official workwear partner for the prestigious Investec SA Open, a cornerstone of South African golf.

This will mark the 114th year of the championship, its 18th return to the Durban Country Club since the tournament’s inception, and its first return to the coastal venue since 2010. Ahead of next year’s championship, the Durban Country Club hosted a media launch on Thursday, 22 August, featuring a distinguished lineup of key industry figures, including Jonsson Workwear CEO, Nick Jonsson.

“Bringing the SA Open to Durban is incredibly exciting. Jonsson Workwear is thrilled to be a secondary sponsor to Investec who have always set an exceptional standard. We’re looking forward to another remarkable event in one of Africa’s great cities,” he shared.

The day’s preparations offered a glimpse into the resilience of Jonsson Workwear at work. Despite the morning’s chilly and brisk winds, our ability to equip hard workers in any job and any conditions was on full display. Our high-performance workwear ensured Durban Country Club greenskeepers and hospitality staff completed their tasks throughout the press conference efficiently and comfortably, even in challenging conditions.

Looking ahead, the Investec SA Open will take place from 27 February to 2 March 2025, where we’ll proudly be providing high-performance workwear that will contribute to the smooth running of the tournament.
