Our DP World Tour and Sunshine Tour co-sanctioned event, the Jonsson Workwear Open, returns for its third consecutive year. This year, the four-day event will take place at the challenging Glendower Golf Club in Edenvale from 7 – 10 March 2024, once again welcoming both local and international golfing talent competing for a $1.5 million purse.

The inaugural 2022 tournament took place at the Durban Country Club - a stone's throw from our headquarters, with South African J.C. Ritchie claiming victory, shooting 26-under-par. In 2023, we relocated the Open to Nicklaus-designed golf course, Steyn City, with Germany’s Nick Bachem lifting the trophy when he won on 24-under par.

We’re pleased to announce our role as the host of the third edition of the highly anticipated event. Chairman and CEO of Jonsson Workwear, Nick Jonsson shared, "We are delighted to bring the third edition of the tournament to the highly rated Glendower Golf Club and look forward to building on the success of our two previous events. As always, we value the time we get to spend here in Gauteng where we operate nine of our stores and our state-of-the-art Distribution Centre.”

The tournament is expected to be a great attraction for fans eager to witness some of the world's most talented golfers in action.
